We run our store from our home as a service to the occult and witchcraft community. Packages typically ship about a week after orders are placed.
Items that are out of stock are flagged on our listing and product pages. Our store software also displays a warning if you add more items than we have in stock to your cart. Armed with this knowledge, we allow you to purchase more than we have in stock with the understanding that your order will be delayed as we make the items.
Some products, however, can only be made during certain times or take longer than a few days. In these cases. we will email you asking how you would like us to proceed. You will only ever be charged for items that ship, and unless you request otherwise, items will not be placed on backorder. It you do wish to place something on backorder, we will request that you pay the additional shipping.
Our preferred carriers are UPS, and US Priority Mail. You may select which shipping option and method you prefer upon checkout. If you wish to have an order shipped to a PO box you must select US Priority Mail. For Alaska, HI, PR, US territories and all APO, FPO and US Territories, we ship via USPS Priority Mail.
Due to the nature of our products, we do not, in general, accept returns and will only do so with prior approval. If you need to return an item, please contact us.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover, as well as money orders and personal checks. We can also accept payment through PayPal -- send to the email address 'lukophos@otherworld-apothecary.com'. Checks and Money orders should be made out to Otherworld Apothecary; your order will ship after your check clears. Returned checks are subject to a $20 fee (the fee charged by our bank). Credit cards are charged immediately before shipping, and not at checkout to ensure correct charges in case an item is out of stock. Your statement will show our contact email address (with an otherworld-apothecary.com domain) and phone number. Erroneous chargebacks on credit card orders are also subject to a $20 fee, again to recoup our fees.
We collect information and store it only to fill your order; we will never sell, share, or trade the information you provide to us. If you have chosen to opt into our newsletter, you may occasionally receive news about new products or random bits of information regarding magical herbalism and formulation.
