Witch Powder: White

White Powder creates the container of the body. Made of eggshells and quartz, bone ash, fairy ring mushrooms collected on the full of the moon, and other such materia, powdered and leavened to grow in power and virtue, white powder is thus appropriate to lay the Ring of Art, the body of the company of witches. It is also appropriate for ringing charms and helping to contain virtue while they leaven.

The White Powder can be mixed with spit and applied to the gates of the body to prevent possession or spirit interference, or spread in a haunted locale to lay ghosts. Additionally, witches employ a measure of White Powder in workings to create a spirit house and also in charms to conceive a child, in both as a way to bring forth a spirit into the world of form.
