Witch Powder: Blue

Blue powder contains the power of tears, memory, and connection with the ancestral. Made with the powdered salt recovered from the sea, blue juniper berries, rosemary flowers, and various minerals, it is connected to the ceaseless churning tides of the sea and their power to both cleanse and connect to the deep.

Use in concert with white powder in rites of returning, when the witch has wandered in the spirit world too long or too far, or to return the medium to the throne of their body. As a connection to deep memory, it is efficacious for drawing sigils in spells to help with dream recall. Finally, it is traditionally spread in witch homes after a period of mourning, to cleanse the mind, solidify the memory of the dead, and prevent loved ones from becoming restless spirits.
