Violet Leaf Absolute

Violet leaf absolute is a thick dark green liquid with a green and earthy scent. In dilution, floral and vanilla notes make themselves known, but the oil still strongly belongs to the earthy scents. It is far fresher than other earthy scents like Vetiver, cypriol, or patchouli.

Violets are used in love magic due to their heart shaped leaves. This oil would make a delightful base note for a non-traditional love oil -- one that's not sticky floral sweet. It could also be used in the construction of chypre-family perfumes.
