Asafoetida
Ferula assafoetidaAlso known as devil’s dung, Asafoetida is an exorcism and protection herb. It is traditionally worn around the neck to ward off bad luck and illnes, and sprinkiled into the censer during rites of exorcism. Add small amounts to a dish for a protective meal, and in larger amounts to purge.
