Yew

Yews can stop growing and can continually renew themselves, allowing them to live forever. Called the Tree of Immortality, it is sacred to Hekate and can be used to raise the dead. It is often found in graveyards and church yards where it keeps watch. It is said that graveyard yews grow a root from the mouth of every corpse buried, the tree drawing life from the dead and connecting the shades who rest within the plot. Yew is an excellent wood to use in rites of necromancy or those intended to call guardians of burial places.
