Gentian

During the Middle Ages, Gentian was commonly employed as a theriac, believed to be an antidote to poison and venoms of all kinds. Nowadays, it's mainly used in spells to attract and keep a lover and may be added to mojos, baths and candle spells for this purpose. It's also a common ingredient in tonics and aperitifs.
