Out of Stock Items And Backorders

Occasionally items ordered are out of stock; we will always notify you when this occurs. In general, if it is a product we make, we will hold your order for the few days it will take to make the item. Some products, though, can only be made during certain times or take longer than a few days; we will email you asking how you would like us to proceed. You will only ever be charged for items that ship, and unless you request otherwise, items will not be placed on backorder. It you do wish to place something on backorder, we will request that you pay the additional shipping.

Shipping

Our preferred carriers are UPS, and US Priority Mail. You may select which shipping option and method you prefer upon checkout. If you wish to have an order shipped to a PO box you must select US Priority Mail. For Alaska, HI, PR, US territories and all APO, FPO and US Territories, we ship via USPS Priority Mail.

Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we do not, in general, accept returns and will only do so with prior approval. If you need to return an item, please contact us.

Payment

We accept Mastercard and Visa as well as money orders and personal checks. Checks and Money orders should be made out to Otherworld Apothecary; your order will ship after your check clears. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee (the fee charged by our bank). Credit cards are charged immediately before shipping to ensure correct charges in case an item is out of stock. The name on your statement will be our contact email address (with an otherworld-apothecary.com domain) and phone number. Erroneous chargebacks on credit card orders are subject to a $20 fee, again to recoup our fees.

Privacy

We collect information and store it only to fill your order; we will never sell, share, or trade the information you provide to us. If you have chosen to opt into our newsletter, you may occasionally receive news about new products or random bits of information regarding magical herbalism and formulation.
