About Otherworld Apothecary

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, two witches cackle over a mortar and pestle, grinding together various herbs, roots and flowers. Its a classic image of the art of Witchcraft, and it's how things are done at Otherworld Apothecary.

Our lives and our magical practice are inspired by the land that we call home. As priests of Hecate and Hermes and Cerridwen and Gwyn ap Nudd respectively, we are drawn to the boundary of this world and the otherworld. In our mundane lives we are ecologists, with interests in herbalism, botany, and community ecosystems. This knowledge and experience that we've spent years aquiring adds to the quality of our products.

We at Otherworld Apothecary make high quality products because we only use high quality ingredients. We avoid cheap wood filler and toxic glues and never use synthetic fragrances in our products. We also believe in the value of scholarship and historical integrity as it applies to magic and magical practice. All of our hoodoo blends and ancient recipes are well researched and accurately compounded.
